Material Handling & Logistics

Airport materials handling and logistics

AIC AIRPORTS handles, physically prepares and moves the goods and equipment entrusted to it. We also organise the flows, the stock and the provision of those items, within the scope defined in the contract.

AIC AIRPORTS provides materials handling, assistance and auxiliary services on airport platforms, tailored and flexible. The service is sized with you at scoping: nature of operations, volumes, operating windows, resources mobilised.

Our responsive structure, built on light and mobile teams, lets us put operational staff at our partners' disposal at fairly short notice: competent agents, trained in the particular challenges our clients face.

The service works just as well for a one-off job as on a recurring basis.

  • Reply within 48h
  • Resources mobilisable within constrained operating windows
  • Coordination with platform stakeholders

Our scope of work

The exact scope is settled at scoping: nature of operations, volumes, operating windows, resources mobilised.

  1. Materials handling, movement and physical preparation of the goods and equipment entrusted to us.

  2. Organisation of flows between the points defined in the contract.

  3. Tracking of stock and provision within the approved scope.

  4. Inspection on take-over and on handover.

  5. One-off or recurring work.

How we work

  1. A defined scope

The nature of the flows, the points concerned, volumes, frequencies, provision lead times and inspection arrangements are settled at scoping.

  2. Agreed lead times

Provision lead times are set from your actual needs and from the capacity that can genuinely be mobilised.

  3. Traceability of take-overs

Every take-over and every handover gives rise to an inspection and a record.

Constraints taken into account:

  • access and movement in restricted areas
  • operating hours
  • concurrent activity
  • storage conditions
  • the nature of the goods entrusted to us
  • the materials handling constraints specific to certain equipment

Quality control

The goods entrusted to us are inspected on take-over and on handover.

Operations are recorded:

  • nature
  • quantity
  • date
  • point of origin and destination
  • observations

Any discrepancy observed is reported without delay, including where it is attributable to us.

Our guarantees

  • Flows organised on a written scope

You know what is entrusted, to whom, and to what lead times.

  • Provision within the agreed lead times

The lead time is a scoping commitment, not an estimate.

  • A resource you can mobilise without recruiting

Outsourcing a physical flow avoids tying up an internal position.

  • Traceability of the goods entrusted to us

Every take-over and every handover is inspected and recorded.
